Art Venti

"My work does not conveniently fit into a category. There are elements of abstraction and glimpses of “reality”. One might guess at surrealism, but I do not think of my work as such. My objective is about taking a fresh look at the traditional landscape.

By using this familiar format, a dialogue is created between the viewer and the image. The brain always attempts to organize the lines, shapes, and colors it perceives; with no easy reference point, there may be no connection.

A recognizable arrangement even though out of the ordinary begins the communication. The composition arrangements are originally discovered by a random array of tissues and recycled papers, viscerally suggesting nascent scenes which ignite my imagination to use as a model for preliminary sketches."

I was absolutely shocked looking at some of these masterpieces. I’m a beginner artist and although not going into such a profession, I think it was a smart idea to learn about drawing. Being able to draw something pleasing to the eye in my free time is something that I think would be a really cool thing to do for fun. These artists are people and many others could hopefully inspire me to learn more about art and the beauty of it all. I could only aspire to be as good as these people are at drawing.

I am a beginner at Coloured Pencils, and want to learn as much as I can about Coloured Pencil Art.
Used to do a lot of work in coloured pencil books as a kid.
